Ingredients:

  • 1 large chicken;
  • Oranges - 2 pcs;
  • Canned apricots - 150 g;
  • Olive oil;
  • Onions - 2 onions;
  • Canned artichokes - 150 g;
  • White table wine - 150 g;
  • Table acetic acid - 1, 5 tablespoons;
  • Garlic - 5 cloves;
  • Bay leaf;
  • Wheat flour - 1, 5 teaspoons;
  • Ground black pepper;
  • Salt.

Preparation:

  1. Peel all the onions, wash in running water and chop into large portions.
  2. Wash each orange well, protect from the peel and divide into wedges. Cut the zest from the orange peel, which must be crumbled into small strips.
  3. Peel the cloves of garlic, wash and finely grater.
  4. Drain and grind canned apricots, then pass through a fine sieve, add garlic and the required amount of vinegar to the resulting puree.
  5. Grate each piece of chicken with a mixture of salt and black ground pepper and then send it to a preheated pan with the addition of olive oil.
  6. Simmer the poultry with a golden brown crust, then add a little warm water and prepared onions. Soak the dish for another 25 minutes over medium heat, and then pour the required amount of table wine into it, keep for the same amount of time.
  7. After cooking, remove all onions and pieces of meat from the pan. After stewing, a small amount of sauce should have remained; prepared apricot puree, the required amount of flour, and a laurel leaf should be added to it. Simmer the sauce over low heat for 4 minutes.
  8. Place the chicken pieces on a serving platter. Season everything with a small amount of sauce, decorate with orange peel strips.
