Jam is a type of jam. In fact, it is a jelly with crushed fruits evenly distributed in it. Banana jam with apricots is a very tasty and aromatic jam. It's easier to cook than jam. Fruit confiture can serve as a filling for cakes, although it just goes well with unsweetened tea.
It is necessary
- - 1, 15 kg of sugar;
- - 750 g apricots;
- - 250 g of bananas;
- - zest from half a lemon;
- - a bag of jelly with pectin.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the apricots, cut them into small pieces. Of course, carefully remove the pits from the apricots.
Step 2
Peel the bananas, cut into wedges, mix thoroughly with the prepared apricots.
Step 3
Add lemon zest to the fruit. It is advisable to rub it on a fine grater, but you can also chop it with a knife.
Step 4
Fill the fruit with a gelling mixture, add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir, put on fire.
Step 5
Bring this mixture to a boil.
Step 6
Add all the rest of the sugar, then bring to a boil again.
Step 7
Simmer the banana apricot jam for exactly 1 minute at a sufficiently high boil.
Step 8
Remove the jam from the stove, immediately remove the formed foam.
Step 9
Divide the treat into prepared clean glass jars.
