When you need to prepare a salad for the festive table, you want it to be very tasty and beautiful at the same time. You will conquer your guests with your culinary skills if you prepare a salad with red caviar, apple and red fish.

It is necessary

    • for 6 servings
    • canned salmon - 1 can;
    • onion - 1 small onion or half a medium onion;
    • boiled eggs - 5 pieces;
    • Russian cheese - 200 gr.;
    • apple - 1 large;
    • canned corn - 0.5 cans;
    • lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
    • red caviar - 2 tablespoons;
    • mayonnaise;
    • salt;
    • ground black pepper.

    • slightly salted salmon - 200g,
    • red caviar - 2 tbsp l.
    • boiled quail eggs - 1 pc.,
    • cream cheese - 3-4 tablespoons (optional),
    • parsley or dill.

Instructions

Step 1

Before preparing the salad, you will have to do a little preparation, namely: boil hard-boiled eggs, peel the onion and cut into small cubes.

Step 2

Open a jar of canned salmon, drain the liquid from it. Do the same for canned sweet corn. Remove the hard bones from the fish. Mash the pulp with a fork.

Step 3

Peel boiled and cooled eggs from the shell. Separate the yolks from the whites. The whites can be grated and the yolks can be kneaded.

Step 4

Grate the cheese on a fine grater.

Step 5

Wash and peel the apples and cut the cores. Grate them on a coarse grater. This must be done before picking the salad so that the apples do not have time to oxidize and darken.

Step 6

Lay the components of the salad on a beautiful dish in layers in the following order:

1st layer: canned salmon, mashed with a fork;

2nd layer: finely chopped onion, seasoned with a little ground black pepper;

3rd layer: sprinkle the grated apple with lemon juice so that it does not darken and acquire a slight sourness. Add some ground black pepper;

4th layer: salt the mashed yolks to taste, grease this layer with mayonnaise;

5th layer: red caviar;

6th layer: corn;

7th layer: cheese must be mixed with mayonnaise, pepper a little;

8th layer: proteins mixed with mayonnaise. Add some salt for flavor.

The sequence of layers can be different, at your discretion, but the protein layer must be the last one.

Step 7

You can decorate the salad by simply cutting the slightly frozen salted red fish into narrow strips and laying them on the surface of the salad in a continuous layer, as in the photo, or you can show a little imagination and lay the strips of salmon in the form of a beautiful flower. Sprigs of greenery will replace the leaves. Spread the red caviar around in a pattern. Hard-boiled quail eggs can be cut into halves and placed on a salad. Around, from a pastry syringe with a star-shaped attachment, squeeze out the cream cheese.
