It is necessary

    • For the chocolate crust:
    • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
    • 50 ml vegetable oil
    • 150 ml milk
    • 1.5 cups flour
    • 1 cup of sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 10 ml of boiling water
    • For the cream:
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 250 ml milk
    • 1 cup of sugar
    • 2 tablespoons flour
    • 200 g butter
    • For the meringue:
    • 2 egg whites
    • 2/3 cups sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare a chocolate sponge cake first. Beat the egg with a mixer. Add vegetable oil and beat lightly again.

Step 2

Combine and stir flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder.

Step 3

Add milk and the freshly made dry mixture to the egg-buttered mixture. Stir until smooth.

Step 4

Add boiling water to the dough and beat quickly with a mixer. Cover the baking dish with baking paper and pour the dough into the baking pan. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

Step 5

Prepare the meringue. Separate the whites from the yolks and beat until lather. For better whites, add citric acid on the tip of a knife. Add sugar gradually and continue whisking.

Step 6

Spread baking paper on a baking sheet and draw on it the outline of the mold in which the chocolate cake was baked. Lubricate the paper with vegetable oil. Divide the protein mass into two parts, put one part on a baking sheet, without going beyond the contours. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Also prepare a second protein cake.

Step 7

Now the cream. Mash 2 yolks with sugar, add flour and mix. Add cold milk gradually. Put on low heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a thick or boil. Remove from heat and cool at room temperature.

Add softened butter and beat until smooth.

Cut the chocolate cake into three pieces. The cake should not be hot.

Place the first chocolate crust on a plate. Lubricate with cream, put the protein cake on top and also grease with cream. Further in the same sequence: chocolate, protein, chocolate. Coat each layer with cream.
