This curd casserole is served with aromatic cherry sauce, which makes it look like a beautiful cake. It turns out quite satisfying, it is convenient to cook it for a child for breakfast or lunch.
It is necessary
- - 250 g of cottage cheese;
- - 100 ml of milk;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of brown sugar;
- - a bag of vanilla sugar;
- - 1 teaspoon of butter.
- For the sauce:
- - 200 g of cherries frozen or in their own juice + 50 ml of liquid from it;
- - 50 g brown sugar;
- - 1 teaspoon of starch.
Instructions
Step 1
Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. In a bowl with a blender, beat the cottage cheese together with milk, vanilla and regular sugar, egg yolks. Beat the whites separately until firm peaks, then add them to the curd mass for a casserole.
Step 2
Coat the form with butter, put the curd mass into it, gently level. You can also use a rectangular muffin pan to keep the casserole from getting tall and cook faster. Cook it for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 170 degrees. Then cool the casserole completely without removing it from the mold.
Step 3
Make your cherry sauce. To do this, in a saucepan, mix cherries, sugar, starch and water from frozen cherries or cherry syrup in your own juice (it all depends on which cherry you chose to make the sauce). Bring the mixture to a boil, simmer for a few minutes, stirring constantly. The sauce will thicken during this time. Cool the finished cherry sauce.
Step 4
Remove the cottage cheese casserole from the mold, cut it into portions, arrange in bowls, serve the cherry sauce separately, or pour over each portion of the casserole.
