Cottage cheese is a great source of protein for a young child. However, ready-made curds can be of dubious quality, and babies do not always like their taste. You can cook delicate, natural and healthy cottage cheese in just 5 minutes at home.

Instructions
Step 1
Pour 400 ml of milk into a metal container (small saucepan or mug). It is best to take non-sterilized milk, the shelf life of which does not exceed 1 month. Place the container of milk on low heat, uncovered.
Step 2
Watch when the boiling process begins. Cut off 1/4 lemon. You shouldn't bring the milk to a boil: as soon as bubbles appear on the surface, squeeze the lemon into the milk and stir slowly. After a few seconds, the process of curd formation will begin: soft lumps will float to the surface. From these proportions of milk and lemon juice, 3-4 tablespoons of the finished product will be obtained.
Step 3
Strain and squeeze the resulting curd, drain the whey through a sieve or cheesecloth. If you are just starting to introduce cottage cheese into the baby's diet, wipe the product through a fine sieve, or grind it to a pasty state in a blender. Combine with porridge, mashed banana, or fruit puree.
