A chicken with vegetables in a pot is a dietary dish. Thanks to the marinade and juice of vegetables, the chicken is tender and tasty.
It is necessary
- For 6 servings you will need:
- - chicken fillet - 1 kg
- - carrots (medium size) - 2 pcs.
- - potatoes - 0.5 kg
- - onion - 1 pc.
- - sweet pepper - 3 pcs.
- - tomato - 3 pcs.
- - eggplant - 1 pc.
- - sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. spoons
- - mayonnaise - 100 g
- - sour cream - 200 g
- - seasonings
- - garlic - 2 cloves
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into 3 * 5cm slices. For a soft and delicate flavor, marinate the fillets. For the marinade, mix mayonnaise and finely chopped garlic cloves, mix well, add spices and refrigerate for 0.5 hours. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables.
Step 2
Cut the potatoes into 1 * 1cm cubes. Cut the sweet pepper and eggplant into cubes the same size as the potatoes. Cut the tomatoes into quarters, cut their hard centers. Cut the carrots in half lengthwise and lengthwise into 5-6 pieces. The sequence of placing in pots does not matter, although the option when the tomatoes are at the bottom and the potatoes at the top is not bad. Under the influence of sour tomato juice, potatoes are not boiled.
Step 3
First, put the pickled meat on the bottom of the pots. Put the pepper and eggplant in the next layer. Then - slices of tomatoes and pre-fried finely chopped onions. Lay out a layer of potatoes on top of everything. Pour enough water into each pot so that the potatoes are not under water, since when stewing the vegetables will settle and give liquid. Add spices, put in a preheated oven (180 degrees) and bake for 45 minutes. Cool slightly before serving and put a tablespoon of sour cream in each pot.
