  • - 100 g of hard cheese;
  • - 50 ml of olive oil;
  • - 1 chicken egg yolk;
  • - 20 g of peeled pistachios;
  • - 2 tbsp. white wine;
  • - 1 tbsp. lemon juice;
  • For bread sauce:
  • - 1 head of garlic;
  • - half a white loaf;
  • - 1 lemon;
  • - 80 ml of vegetable oil;
  • - 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper;
  • - 10 g of parsley;
  • - salt.

Simple Garlic Sauce Recipe

Peel the garlic cloves, chop at random and put in a mortar. Put some salt in there and rub it well with a pestle. Transfer the resulting mixture to a bowl, mix with vegetable oil, lemon juice, mayonnaise, sour cream and whisk.

Soak the sauce in the refrigerator for at least an hour and serve with meat, poultry, fish, seafood, mushrooms, vegetables, or as a dip for unleavened tortillas or Mexican chips.
