It is necessary
- - 3-4 apples;
- - a handful of peeled walnut kernels;
- - 3-4 tsp granulated sugar;
- - 2 tbsp. honey.
Instructions
Step 1
The fruits must be washed and with the help of a vegetable peeler with a sharp end or an ordinary knife, cut the middle with the seed box from the side of the cutting so that they remain intact from the bottom. It is convenient to remove the seeds with a teaspoon.
Step 2
Put pieces of nut kernels into this depression and add 2/3 or 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar.
Step 3
Put the prepared apples in one layer on the bottom of a saucepan of a suitable size and, without touching the fruit, pour 250-300 g of boiling water. There should be a little water just to cover the bottom with a thin layer, but the apples were not covered or floated in the liquid.
Step 4
Cover the pot with a tight lid and place it on the stove. As soon as the water boils, reduce the fire by 2/3, but so that steam formation does not stop, and leave for 15 minutes.
Step 5
It is necessary to remove the pan from the heat and let the apples cool down, as they easily lose their shape when hot.
Step 6
Put the cooled delicacy with a slotted spoon or spatula into a bowl or a small salad bowl. Pour honey on top.
