Step 1
Wash the apples, cut in half. Remove the middle so that a round hole remains in its place. The most convenient way to do this is with a special round spoon. Chop the peel in several places to help the apples keep their shape when baked.
Step 2
If you want to make baked apples without filler, sprinkle the halves with cinnamon. Put sugar or honey in the cut out hole. Place in a preheated oven to 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden skewer - if the apple pricks without effort, the dish is ready.
Step 3
Try apples with cranberries or lingonberries. Place lingonberries or cranberries mixed with sugar in the middle of the prepared halves and bake as described above.

For the nut filling, carefully sort the walnuts, roast them in the oven for 4-5 minutes at 170 ° C and chop them into small pieces with a knife. Add honey and a pinch of cinnamon and stir. Fill the apple halves with a slide with this mixture and bake in the same way as in the first option.

For the curd filling, rub the curd along with the egg, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon into a paste in a kitchen processor. Fill the apple halves with the finished filling. In this case, the oven temperature should be lower and the cooking time should be longer. Under such conditions, the curd filling will be baked with a delicate homogeneous mass. Bake at 130 ° C for about 30 minutes. Then check the apples with a wooden skewer. Take small fruits for this version of the dessert, and it will be ready faster.
