It is necessary

  • - pork pulp - 800 g;
  • - onions - 2 pcs.;
  • - carrots - 1 pc.;
  • - sour cream - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - tomato paste (ketchup) - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - wheat flour - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • - water or broth - 200 ml;
  • - sour cream - 4 tbsp. l.;
  • - salt, adjika - to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Pork cuts such as shoulder, neck, tenderloin or ham are suitable for goulash. For cooking, you need chilled or lightly frozen meat, which must be cut across the fibers into the desired pieces. Remember to roll the pieces of meat in wheat flour. This can be done in two ways. Sprinkle the sifted flour over the meat so that the meat is evenly coated with wheat flour. You can also place the pieces of meat in a plastic bag with flour and shake it in different directions.

Step 2

In the meantime, prepare the vegetables for the goulash: peel the onions and chop them into large rings, wash the carrots, peel and grate.

Step 3

Pour vegetable oil (preferably olive or sunflower) into the bowl of your multicooker, put the prepared vegetables, lightly salt them, and then set the "Fry" mode and fry the vegetables at 120 degrees for 5 minutes, then add meat to them and fry another 5 minutes.

Step 4

After the end of the "Frying" mode, set the "Stew" mode and simmer the meat for 1-1.5 hours. The stewing time depends on the meat itself, its fat content and the size of the pieces.

Step 5

At the very beginning of stewing, add tomato paste with sour cream. In order to prepare the sauce, combine tomato paste (tomato sauce, ketchup), adjika, water and sour cream, stir these ingredients until smooth.

Step 6

You can add any spices to the sauce, for example, paprika and black pepper, chili, etc. For an unconventional goulash, add Italian herbs, Provencal herbs, suneli hops, curry or a Mexican mixture.

Step 7

After adding the sauce and spices, put the lid on the slow cooker and simmer. After 30 minutes, check your future goulash, you may need to add liquid. To do this, add meat or vegetable broth and water to the goulash.

Step 8

After the goulash is ready, it can be salted and served with any side dish, such as pasta, buckwheat, rice or other vegetables, as well as potatoes or vegetables.
