Brushwood is one of the favorite sweet tea dishes, which both children and adults are delighted with. Cooking brushwood is not difficult at all.
It is necessary
- - 250 ml of milk;
- - 2 eggs;
- - 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- - 0.5 tsp salt;
- - 1 tsp. baking powder;
- - 400-800 g flour;
- - icing sugar for sprinkling;
- - 1 bottle of vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour room temperature milk into a bowl where we will knead the dough. Add eggs, sugar, salt and beat with a mixer until foamy. Add baking powder and gradually add flour, beat. When the dough thickens, stop beating with a mixer. Pour more flour and knead the dough with your hands, like on dumplings. Cover the finished dough with a towel and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
Step 2
Cut off a piece of dough, roll out a thin sheet and cut into strips, then a herringbone pattern.
Step 3
Pour oil into a saucepan, heat it. In hot oil, we begin to fry brushwood - fry 6-8 strips each until golden brown.
Step 4
Put the finished brushwood beautifully on a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar. We serve to the table and invite everyone to tea!
