Step 1
To prepare brushwood, you need to knead the dough. To do this, take a bowl, break one egg (always fresh), add salt, 1 tbsp. l. sour cream, 2 tsp. vodka, stir.
Step 2
Then start adding a little flour, knead the dough so that it turns out to be dense (like homemade noodles). Cover the dough with a towel and let stand for a while.
Step 3
Take a rolling pin and roll out the dough very, very thinly (1-2 mm), while sprinkling with flour. Cut the dough into diamonds. Next, you need to make an incision in the middle of the diamond and turn one side through this hole.
Step 4
If you don't have a deep fryer, you can use a skillet or saucepan. It is necessary to pour a large amount of oil into the frying pan (so that the brushwood floats), put it on fire.
Step 5
After the oil has boiled, put a few diamonds in the pan so that they are spaced apart (as they will grow in size). When one side is browned, you need to turn it over to the other side until tender.
Step 6
Put the finished brushwood on a large plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar or cinnamon (optional). Serve with tea, coffee and milk. Bon Appetit!
