Brushwood is a favorite crunchy delicacy not only for children, but also for adults. The unique taste of this dish is familiar to many from childhood. Traditionally, it is made from thin dough and fried in well-heated oil.

- - 100 g wheat flour
- - 1/2 tbsp. chickpea
- - 4 tbsp. l. brown sugar
- - 100 g oat flour
- - 5 tbsp. l. boiled water
- - 1 tbsp. l. sesame seeds (white or black)
- - honey
- - vegetable oil for frying

Step 1
To begin with, you need to soak the chickpeas in the evening, then boil until tender.
Step 2
Then knead the brushwood dough. In a deep bowl, pour flour, cooked chickpeas, sugar, sesame seeds and 5 tbsp. l. water. Mix well until a homogeneous dough is formed.
Step 3
If the dough turns out to be too thick, then you will need to add more water to it and mix. The dough must be kneaded so that it does not stick to your hands.
Step 4
We select any work surface and sprinkle it with flour, roll out the dough 5 millimeters thick. Using a mold, cut out the figures.
Step 5
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan or cauldron and heat it up. Put the dough cut in the form into the heated oil and fry until golden brown.
Step 6
Brushwood can be served with honey or powdered sugar.
