Rice with spinach and feta in Greek is an original appetizer for the festive table that will pleasantly surprise your guests.
It is necessary
- For four servings:
- - chicken broth - 2.5 cups;
- - one lemon;
- - feta cheese - 1/4 cup;
- - chopped dill - 1/4 cup;
- - chopped parsley - 1/4 cup;
- - a bunch of spinach leaves;
- - a glass of brown basmati rice;
- - two cloves of garlic;
- - one onion;
- - olive oil, salt, ground pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan (you don't need much, one tablespoon is enough), fry the chopped onion for seven minutes.
Step 2
Add chopped garlic cloves and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add chopped spinach and cook until soft.
Step 4
Then send rice, parsley, dill. Pour in the chicken broth. Pepper, salt. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, simmer for about fifty minutes, until rice is tender.
Step 5
Remove the skillet from the stove, add some lemon juice, sprinkle with feta cheese. The Greek appetizer is ready, serve it!
