Fricassee is a traditional French dish made with chicken and rabbit (sometimes pork). It has come to us since the days of Napoleon Bonaparte. This dish is best served with a side dish of rice or potatoes.

It is necessary

  • - chicken breast - 2 pieces
  • - champignons - 500 g
  • - onion - 1 piece
  • - garlic - 2 cloves
  • - flour - 1 tablespoon
  • - sour cream -100 ml
  • - salt, pepper, herbs

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse chicken breasts well and pat dry. Cut into long thin strips. Season with salt and pepper, roll a little in flour and fry in a pan. The meat should languish, not roast until golden brown, but remain white.

Step 2

Chop the onion and garlic separately, add everything to the chicken and simmer for another 10 minutes. You can first boil the chicken, then remove the skin from it and fry in butter.

Step 3

Rinse the mushrooms and cut into slices or cut into quarters. Then fry in a separate pan. Mix mushrooms with chicken, add sour cream and simmer over low heat, covered for another 15 minutes.
