This popular cake recipe is relatively easy to make. It will not even be difficult for a non-chef in baking to make this dessert using step-by-step photos. The cake turns out to be beautiful, delicate and very tasty.

- Dough:
- - 1 cup of sugar
- - 8 egg yolks
- - 1 egg
- - 1 tablespoon water
- - 60 g ground almonds
- - 50 g cocoa powder
- - 8 egg whites
- Cream:
- - 400 g canned cherries
- - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- - 900 ml whipped cream
- - sugar + 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- - 150 g of chocolate
Instructions
Step 1
To prepare the dough, beat egg yolks, 1 egg, granulated sugar and water until frothy.
Step 2
Then add ground almonds, beaten egg whites, and cocoa at the end.
Step 3
Pour the dough into a baking dish and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Step 4
After baking, let cool and cut horizontally into 3 equal cakes.
Step 5
To make the cream, take a small saucepan and pour the whole can of canned cherries and juice into it. Bring to a boil.

Mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with a little cherry juice and pour into a saucepan. Simmer for a few more minutes until thickened. Let cool.

Whisk in the cream until fluffy. Add sugar and vanilla extract.

Take the bottom of the cake and saturate it with liquor, add the cherries, then sprinkle with whipped cream (1/3 part).
Step 9
Next, add a second crust, saturate with liquor and distribute another portion of the whipped cream. Saturate the third layer of cake with liquor and place over the second layer.
Step 10
Brush the cake with whipped cream on all sides, top with cherries and grated chocolate.

Put the dessert in the refrigerator overnight and serve the next day.
