Step 1
We wash the veal, dip with culinary napkins, cut into pieces. The piece should be large enough to fit easily in the mouth. Salt and pepper. Fry in boiling fat or vegetable oil in a well-heated frying pan with a thick bottom until golden brown.
Step 2
Chop the onion or thinly cut into rings or half rings, lightly salt, pepper and fry in a pan. Put the sautéed onion (1/2) on the bottom of the pot. Put pieces of meat on top, then again - a layer of onions and the remaining meat, on top - again onions. Add allspice, peeled garlic cloves. It is better not to cut the garlic.
Step 3
Fill the meat with meat broth so that the liquid level is 1 cm below the meat level. We spread the sour cream on top. We close the pot with a lid or a flat cake mixed with flour and water. We place the pot in a well-heated (180 degrees) oven and simmer for 1, 5 hours. The meat should be well cooked, therefore, after taking it out, you should wrap the pot in a towel and let it stand for at least half an hour. The meat will be juicy, tender and tasty.
