It is necessary

  • - yeast - 50 g;
  • - salt - 1/2 teaspoon;
  • - milk - 1 glass;
  • - sugar - 1 tablespoon;
  • - margarine - 200 g;
  • - flour - 3.5 cups.
  • Filling:
  • - beef - 1 kg;
  • - onions - 6 pcs;
  • - garlic - 2 cloves;
  • - salt;
  • - pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, melt the margarine in a water bath. Let it cool until warm, then combine with milk. Mix yeast with granulated sugar, grind. Add milk to this mixture. Then add salt and flour there. Stir the mass as it should, and immediately roll it into a layer.

Step 2

Peel four onions, chop finely and fry. Scroll the remaining two together with the meat and cloves of garlic using a meat grinder. Add fried onions, pepper and salt to the meat mass. The filling for the Sternammchiks is ready.

Step 3

Divide both the meat filling and the dough into exactly 6 parts.

Step 4

Roll one part of the dough into a very thin layer measuring 50 x 30 centimeters. Line part of the filling along the length. Roll this mass like a roll. Then, dipping the edge of the palm into the flour, "cut" the resulting sausage into 10 identical pies. Just keep in mind that you need to do this procedure very slowly and carefully, otherwise nothing will work. Do this with all the remaining dough and meat filling.

Step 5

Put the dish on a dry baking sheet and bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 degrees until the dough rises and is golden brown. Sternammchiki pies are ready!
