  • To cook pork in the oven with vegetables, you will need the following ingredients:

  • - potatoes - 1 kg;
  • - garlic - 4-5 cloves;
  • - vegetable oil - 100 ml;
  • - cumin - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • - greens - 1 bunch;
  • - black pepper, salt - to taste and desire.

Step 1

First you need to do the preparation of the meat. It is best to choose a pork neck, then the dish will turn out to be very juicy and tender. Cut the meat into several pieces, peel the garlic, and then crush with a garlic press or press. You can also just chop it with a knife.

Now each piece of meat must be grated on each side with salt, black pepper and garlic, and then put in a bowl, into which you need to pour about 50 grams of vegetable oil. Mix everything well. Vegetable oil plays a very important role in this dish: it envelops the meat well and prevents it from drying out during baking. In addition, thanks to it, the spices are well distributed, and the meat is completely saturated with them.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper, then lay out the pieces of meat and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of cumin. Leave the meat to marinate.

In the meantime, prepare your vegetables. Wash the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces, as they take a long time to bake in the oven. If you take large pieces of potatoes, then you can pre-cook them for about 10 minutes. Put the potatoes in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, you can also add a little pepper and vegetable oil, mix well, and then add to the baking sheet to the meat.

The meat goes well with a variety of vegetables that can be added to your liking. This recipe uses potatoes, bell peppers and zucchini, or you can use your favorite vegetables. Wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds and core, cut into small pieces. Wash the zucchini and then cut into small pieces about 1 centimeter thick. Put these vegetables in a bowl, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, cumin and add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, then add everything to a baking sheet to meat and potatoes, and on top you can put herbs, such as parsley, thyme, mint or basil.

Send the baking sheet with meat to the oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes at 180-200 degrees. During the specified time, the meat will be cooked for sure, you just have to watch the potatoes. The meat baked in the oven with vegetables will be ready, and you can safely serve your dish to both a regular and a festive table.
