There are many cauliflower dishes, but mostly boiled cabbage is cooked in batter or poured with an omelet. However, there are also lean dishes that are suitable for those who are losing weight, vegetarians and those who are fasting.
Vegetable casserole is one of the dietary dishes that is quickly prepared, has a low calorie content and has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive system.
Cauliflower can be purchased almost all year round, and if a fresh head of cabbage in winter costs quite a lot, then frozen semi-finished product can be purchased very inexpensively.
Cauliflower casserole with garlic
You will need:
- cauliflower - 1-2 pcs;
- garlic - 2-3 cloves;
- oregano - to taste;
- salt - to taste;
- zest of 1 lemon;
- sunflower oil.
If the cabbage is frozen, let it melt at room temperature, the fresh head of cabbage is disassembled into inflorescences. We put the cabbage in a saucepan, fill it with boiling water, lightly add some salt and cook for 3-5 minutes, then put it on a sieve or colander and leave to cool.
Grease the heat-resistant form with any vegetable oil, put the cocks in it, sprinkle with salt (if necessary), lemon zest and oregano and send it to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for a quarter of an hour.
Peel the garlic and finely chop it (you can skip it through a press) and sprinkle it on our dish, leave it to bake for another 5 minutes. Serve the casserole hot to the table, sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
