Herring tartlets are an excellent snack for a family feast that will appeal to all household members. Apples combined with dill and cream cheese add great taste and aroma to tartlets. An appetizer with fish is not prepared for long, but it turns out delicious and satisfying.

- - 10-15 ml of finished horseradish
- - 220-240 g cream cheese
- - 2 apples
- - 15-20 g dill
- - 170-220 g potatoes
- - 2 large herrings
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the potatoes and cook in their skins in salted water. Wash the dill thoroughly, dry and chop finely. Stir cream cheese with horseradish and dill. Cut off the heads of the fish and pull out the insides through the incision on the belly.
Step 2
Make a cut along the ridge and remove the thin outer film. Use your fingers to gently split the fish in two. Remove the ridge and rib bones, remove all small bones. Divide the fillet into several pieces.
Step 3
Cool potatoes, peel and cut into circles. Rinse the apples, cut into circles. Divide each circle into two halves, remove the core. Transfer the apple pieces to boiling water and cook for 4-5 minutes. Place gently on a dish.
Step 4
Coat the potato slices with cheese. Place a slice of apple and herring on each. Place ready-made tartlets on a flat dish.
