This unusual salad can be an excellent side dish for any meat or fish dishes. It is also suitable for a festive table - it will surprise guests with its original taste.
It is necessary
- - 150 grams of celery;
- - 1 large cucumber;
- - 2 cobs of sweet young corn;
- - 8 cherry tomatoes;
- - a slice of ginger;
- - 2 teaspoons of honey;
- - 50 milliliters of soy sauce;
- - a pinch of ground red pepper;
- - 4 cloves of garlic;
- - unrefined olive oil.
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, the cucumber is cut into large strips. It needs to be marinated in a mixture of half soy sauce, honey and a pinch of ground red pepper. It will take at least 10-15 minutes for the vegetables to cook thoroughly.
Step 2
In parallel, you need to prepare a special salad sauce from 2 tablespoons of olive oil, the remaining soy sauce, chopped garlic and ginger, and red pepper. He will give the dish a spicy refined taste and add the necessary spice.
Step 3
Next, carefully remove the corn grains from the cobs with a knife so that they retain their shape, cut the ginger into small pieces (or grate on a fine grater), chop the celery and fry all the vegetables in olive oil until soft. The oil should be added in a small amount so that it will not be felt in the salad in the future.
Step 4
Now you can start mixing the ingredients. The cucumbers are laid out on a napkin to drain off the excess marinade, and then mixed with vegetables fried in olive oil. Last but not least, the sauce prepared in advance is added to the salad.
Step 5
Salt should be added to the dish only after the first try, as celery makes the salad already salty. You can use any additional seasonings to taste.
