Chicken dishes are often included in both everyday and holiday menus. The taste of this bird's meat has become commonplace for us. But you can add spice and originality to an ordinary dish. For example, bake chicken fillet in baking paper or serve chicken stew with chocolate sauce.

- For the chicken in the envelope:
- - 2 chicken breasts;
- - 2 onions;
- - 1 red and green bell pepper each;
- - 1 stalk of celery;
- - 4 cloves of garlic;
- - 250 g of cheese;
- - 6 tbsp. olive oil;
- - 2 tsp oregano;
- - salt
- ground black pepper to taste.
- For the chicken in chocolate sauce:
- - 1 chicken;
- - 250 ml of chicken broth;
- - 3 tomatoes;
- - 1 onion;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 chili pepper;
- - 50 g of almonds;
- - 50 g of black 70% chocolate;
- - 1 tsp ground coriander;
- - 1 tsp wheat flour;
- - 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;
- - salt to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Chicken in an envelope
Wash the chicken breasts, pat dry on a kitchen towel, remove bones. Chop the chicken fillet into large pieces. Place in a bowl, pour over 1 tbsp. unrefined olive oil. Season with salt, pepper and stir. Leave the chicken to marinate for 10-20 minutes.
Step 2
Peel and wash vegetables. Finely chop the onions and celery stalk. Cut the red and green bell peppers into half rings. Chop the garlic finely. Heat some olive oil in a skillet and save vegetables until tender.
Step 3
Fry the marinated chicken fillet on all sides until golden brown in olive oil. Cut the cheese (feta, cephalotiri, cephalograviera) into cubes with a side of 1, 5 cm. Heat the oven to 180 ° C. Divide the fried vegetables and chicken into 4 equal parts. Prepare 4 sheets of baking paper.
Step 4
Place pieces of chicken breast on baking paper, sprinkle with oregano on top and put vegetables, cheese cubes. Fold the edges of the paper into an envelope.
Step 5
Grease a baking sheet with oil and place the chicken envelopes on top of it. Sprinkle them with water on top and place in the oven for half an hour. The chicken meat should be tender and soft.
Step 6
Chicken in chocolate sauce
Wash the chicken, pat dry with paper towel and cut into portions. Cut the onion into half rings, chop the garlic. Peel the chili and chop finely. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin. Then cut into 4 pieces and remove the seeds. Cut the pulp into cubes. Grind the almonds into flour, grate the chocolate on a coarse grater.
Step 7
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the chicken on all sides for 5 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a bowl. Put pepper, garlic and onion in the same pan and sauté for 2 minutes. Return the chicken pieces to the vegetables, add the broth and simmer over medium heat for about half an hour.
Step 8
Remove the chicken and place it on a platter. Combine almonds, flour and tomatoes. Season with salt, add coriander and stir. Add the mixture to the vegetable skillet, stir and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add chocolate, remove from heat and whisk the sauce. Pour hot chocolate sauce over the chicken.
