Chorizo goulash is a very satisfying and aromatic dish. It is prepared within an hour. When served, goulash is seasoned with sour cream and fresh herbs. Canned green peas can be substituted for a Turkish variety called chickpeas.

- - 300 g chorizo sausage
- - 2 heads of onions
- - 300 g potatoes
- - 600 g canned tomatoes
- - olive oil

- - ground black pepper
- - Bay leaf
- - 250 g canned green peas
- - 150 g sour cream

Step 1
Cut the potatoes and carrots into small cubes. Chop the onion and garlic. Chorizo can be cut into thin slices or small pieces. Combine all the ingredients with the canned peas.
Step 2
Place the vegetable mixture in a saucepan or deep skillet. Fry lightly in olive oil. Pour in a small amount of broth and add bay leaf or oregano for flavor. Simmer the ingredients over low heat for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Pepper and salt the goulash to taste a few minutes before cooking. If you like spicy dishes, then paprika or chili can be used instead of ground black pepper. Season the goulash with a few tablespoons of sour cream before serving.
