Pike has a special and unique taste that must be preserved during cooking.

For cooking you will need:

- pike weighing 1 kg;

- medium onion;

- carrots - 2 pieces;

- vegetable oil for frying;

- wheat flour - 2 tablespoons;

- sour cream - 3 tablespoons;

- spices to taste.

The pike dish must be cooked in a special sequence, then the success of the stewed pike with vegetables is guaranteed!

1. Thawed pike is cleaned of scales and entrails. The tail and head are removed, and the sirloin is cut into pieces, 3-4 centimeters wide. Each piece is rubbed with salt and pepper, placed in a deep cup and placed in the refrigerator for half an hour.

2. As soon as the pike is salted, you can start frying it.

Frying is a prerequisite, the fish is covered with a crispy appetizing crust, which will leave all the meat juice inside.

Each piece of pike is rolled in flour and fried in a multicooker bowl on the "frying" mode. Once all the pieces are fried, place them in a plate and cover with a lid to keep the fish warm.

3. Onions and carrots are peeled and finely chopped. Then they are fried in vegetable oil in a multicooker bowl, also in the "frying" mode. Saute vegetables until half cooked.

4. On top of the sautéed vegetables, put the fried pike, put the sour cream and add a little water. Add salt and pepper to taste, close the multicooker and set the "stewing" mode for 45 minutes.

Stewed pike with vegetables in sour cream can go as a main dish with any cereal side dish, sprinkled with finely chopped herbs.
