Chicken baked in balsamic vinegar is prepared in several stages. The dish gets a spicy taste thanks to the unusual combination of balsamic sauce and gherkins.
It is necessary
- - 100 ml balsamic vinegar
- - 1 small chicken
- - olive oil
- - 2 tsp mustard
- - 100 g gherkins
- - salt
- - ground black pepper
- - oregano
- - rosemary
- - 1 pack of butter
- - 6-7 cherry tomatoes

Step 1
Rinse the chicken thoroughly under cold water. Pat dry lightly with a tissue or paper towel. Rub liberally with salt and black pepper.
Step 2
Prepare the marinade in a separate container. To do this, combine a few tablespoons of mustard, melted butter, finely chopped gherkins and balsamic vinegar. Add chopped rosemary and oregano if desired.
Step 3
Place the chicken in the cooked marinade. The workpiece should be in a cool place for several hours. Flip the chicken periodically to soak the mixture on all sides.
Step 4
Place in a baking dish and place in the oven for at least one hour. The readiness of the chicken can be determined by the appearance of a golden crust. A few minutes before cooking, add the cherry tomatoes, cut in half, to the dish. You can sprinkle some chopped greens on the chicken before serving.
