The main decoration of the Easter table is Easter cake, which is called Easter. Prepare a cake at home yourself, please your loved ones, despite the fact that similar pastries for this Christian holiday are offered in stores.

- For a few Easter cakes:
- - 1 glass of milk
- - 1 cup of sugar
- - 50 g raw yeast
- - 10 egg yolks
- - a pack (200 g) of butter
- - 1 kg flour
- - vanillin to taste
- - salt 1/2 tsp
- For white glaze:
- - 1 tbsp. icing sugar
- - 3 tbsp. water

Step 1
We will cook Easter cakes using yeast dough. Heat the milk slightly and dilute the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in it. Add 1 cup of sifted flour. Wait for the dough to foam.

Mash the egg yolks with half the remaining sugar, add salt and whisk well.

Combine the egg mass with milk, then knead the dough, adding flour in small portions, also add vanillin to taste.

Put the resulting Easter cake dough in a warm place for 2 hours, let it rise. After its volume doubles, stir by adding sugar and softened butter. Knead until the Easter dough is smooth and sticky.
Step 5
Grease the Easter cake tins with vegetable oil and fill them one-third full with dough. Place in a warm place to proof.
Step 6
When the dough rises, place the cakes in the hot oven to bake. Check the readiness of the baking with a match, if there is no raw dough on it, take out the cakes.
Step 7
Let cool completely and garnish with frosting or whipped egg whites on top. Sprinkle with colored sugar or ready-made Easter sprinkles.
Step 8
To prepare the icing, pour 3 tablespoons of water into 1 cup of powdered sugar, cook until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
