Italian cuisine is a treasure trove of original and delicious recipes. Mint Panna Cotta is an Italian dessert that contains heavy cream and gelatin as the main ingredients. In general, the classic panna cotta is white, but you can diversify it and add mint or any other coloring sauce or cocoa.
It is necessary
- - cream 20% - 400 ml
- - milk - 200 ml
- - gelatin - 10 g
- - mint - 100 g
- - half a lemon
- - sugar - 70 g
- - berries
Instructions
Step 1
Soak the gelatin in cold water according to the instructions on the package.
Step 2
Pour cream and milk into a saucepan, bring to a boil and set aside.
Step 3
Rinse the mint in cold water and let dry.
Step 4
Grind half of all the mint in a blender, and the remaining half just finely chop. Sprinkle a little lemon juice on the chopped mint.
Step 5
Grate the lemon zest on a fine grater.
Step 6
Add all the mint and lemon zest to the milk and cream, mix and add sugar. Put on low heat for 5 minutes. The sugar should be completely dissolved, but it is important not to let the liquid boil. Then remove from heat and let it brew under a closed lid for 20 minutes.
Step 7
Introduce gelatin, previously squeezed out of excess water, into the mixture.
Step 8
Pour the mixture into molds or glasses and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 9
Get the almost finished dessert out of the refrigerator and put a mint leaf on top and decorate with berries. If you wish, you can make a sauce from the same berry and pour over it. Refrigerate for another 2-3 hours.
