This cake is also called Coffee Cake, as it is especially good with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
It is necessary
- The foundation:
- - 2.5 cups flour;
- - 1 cup of sugar;
- - 1 cup of cold butter;
- - 1 cup sour cream;
- - 0.75 tsp baking powder;
- - 0.75 tsp soda;
- - 1 large egg;
- - 1, 25 tsp vanilla extract.
- Filling:
- - 280 g cream cheese;
- - 0.5 cups of sugar;
- - 1 large egg;
- - 1 cup canned pineapple;
- - 0.75 cups almond petals.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift flour into a large bowl and mix with sugar. Chop the butter into small pieces, add to the flour mixture and grind everything into crumbs. Set aside 3/4 of the crumbs to sprinkle on the cake and refrigerate, and add vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, egg and sour cream to the remaining ingredients. Knead the dough, transfer it to a greased mold 26 cm in diameter and knead to form the sides. Put in the refrigerator for a while.
Step 2
Prepare the filling: combine cream cheese with egg and sugar in a blender. Beat everything thoroughly until smooth and then pour the cheese filling onto the base. Put canned pineapples on top (you can pre-cut them into small pieces, if you wish). Sprinkle everything set aside first with flour crumbs, and then with almond petals.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Send the cake there for about 50 minutes. After removing the baked goods from the oven, cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then gently run a knife around the edge and remove. Before slicing, the pie should also be chilled in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours.
