A spoonful of honey will ennoble any dish - from appetizer to dessert. A product of nature, worthy of a royal meal. See for yourself by preparing the most delicate sticks with the addition of honey.
It is necessary
- - 300 g flour;
- - 200 g margarine;
- - 250 g of sugar;
- - 3 tbsp. spoons of honey;
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 pack of cookie powder.
- For glaze:
- - 100 g butter;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- - 2-3 tbsp. spoons of milk;
- - 3 tbsp. cocoa spoons;
- - 2 tbsp. spoons of rum or vodka;
- - 1 pack of coconut flakes.
Instructions
Step 1
Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar and cookie powder, add margarine. Rub everything thoroughly. Then add 3 tablespoons of honey, an egg and knead the dough.
Step 2
Roll the finished dough into a circle so that its thickness is about 2-3 mm, grease a baking dish with butter and place a layer of dough on it. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 180-200 degrees until tender.
Step 3
Cut the hot baked cake into sticks (strips 3 cm wide and 9 cm long). These will be our honey sticks. It remains to dip them in the glaze.
Step 4
Prepare the icing: put butter and sugar in a saucepan, pour in milk and turn on the stove over low heat. The mass must be constantly stirred and brought to a boil, then add rum and cocoa.
Step 5
Place each stick on a fork, dip in the finished frosting, and then roll in the coconut. Place on a plate and refrigerate for a few hours. Place the cooled and frozen sticks on a serving plate. Serve with coffee or tea.
