I suggest another way to cook pork for a festive table. This is a fairly simple recipe, but guests and family will be satisfied with the result and will appreciate the efforts of the hostess.
Festive pork
You will need:
- a piece of pork (carbonate) - about 2 kg;
- spices for meat, salt - to taste;
- garlic - 3 cloves;
- champignons - 500 g;
- hard cheese - 300 g;
- vegetable oil for the marinade.
Rinse the meat and dry with a paper towel. Then cut it "accordion", not reaching the edge of 2-3 centimeters. Mix the spices with salt and brush over the pork on all sides and inside the cuts. Use a knife to make small holes throughout the piece of pork and put the chopped garlic into them. Or you can take granulated garlic and add it to spices.
Put the carbonate in a plastic bag, add a few tablespoons of vegetable oil, tie the bag and leave in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours (you can marinate overnight). From time to time, the meat needs to be turned over so that the spices work better and the pork turns out to be fragrant.
The second step is to cut the cheese and mushrooms into slices. Remove the meat from the bag and put cheese and mushrooms in the cuts. Wrap the resulting meat accordion with vegetables in foil and bake in the oven for about two hours at a temperature of 200 degrees.
Such meat is served on the table in a whole piece, and then cut into portions. It can be consumed both hot and cold.
