Club salad is a dish based on cheese and ham. The Italian version uses parmesan and salami, while the more common American version uses cheddar, bacon and cooked smoked ham. The salad always turns out to be very tasty and instantly disappears from the table.

It is necessary

  • Ingredients for 4 servings:
  • - boiled smoked ham - 100 g;
  • - bacon - 6 slices;
  • - cheddar - 100 g;
  • - lettuce - 200 g;
  • - large tomato;
  • - green onions - 5-6 feathers.
  • For refueling:
  • - mayonnaise - 6 spoons;
  • - Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons;
  • - honey - 1 spoon.

Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the dressing: in a bowl, mix honey, mustard and mayonnaise, add 2-3 tablespoons of warm water, otherwise the dressing will turn out too thick.

Step 2

Heat a frying pan over medium heat, fry the bacon on it to melt the fat, and the bacon itself becomes golden and crispy.

Step 3

Put the fried bacon slices on a paper towel to remove excess fat. After that, chop the bacon with your hands into small pieces.

Step 4

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, cut the tomato into small cubes. Chop the green onion, cut the ham into thin long strips. Lettuce leaves can be torn by hand or coarsely chopped.

Step 5

Mix all the ingredients for the "Club" salad in a large bowl, pour over the dressing and mix again. We serve salad on the table right away.
