The recipe for homemade chips is very simple; teenagers and novice housewives can use it. To make a whole bowl of potato slices, limit yourself to the following foods:

- 2 medium sized potatoes;

- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil;

- salt to taste;

- optional - dried dill.

Rinse the tubers well. Dry clean tubers on a towel or wipe their surface with it. It is unlikely that you will be able to chop the potatoes very thinly with a knife, so use a vegetable cutter, food processor or Berner grater for this purpose.

If you don't feel like peeling potatoes, you can skip this step. The peel will hardly be noticeable, since the slices are cut very thinly.

When a small piece of tuber remains in your hand, rub it very carefully so as not to injure your fingers. It is better to chop the extreme part of the tuber on a special vegetable holder and rub the potatoes, taking this plastic stop in your hand.

The baking process will take place in the microwave. Therefore, grease a refractory plate with a little sunflower oil. You can put a baking sleeve on top of it, then you do not need to grease it.

Put the grated vegetables in a bowl, sprinkle with oil, sprinkle with salt, mix with your hands. Add chopped dried dill if desired. Arrange the prepared circles on a plate in one layer. Cover the remaining product with cellophane so that the slices do not darken.

Turn on the microwave at full power for 2.5 minutes. Then carefully remove the slightly browned chips.

Then put the next portion of the slices on a plate, bake them, you do not need to grease the plate again.

You can cook potato chips in a skillet with one trick. By adding flour, they will be crisper. To enjoy homemade chips, take:

- 2 potatoes;

- 50 g flour;

- salt to taste;

- 2 tbsp. sunflower oil;

- a pinch of seasoning.

Wash the tubers, peel, rinse, wipe lightly with a towel, cut into thin slices. Pour flour into a strong plastic bag, add salt and dry seasoning, mix. Put the prepared potato slices into the dry mixture, squeeze the opening of the bag with your hand, shake it several times. Then the dry mixture will evenly cover the circles on all sides.

Vegetable oil is poured into a frying pan, warmed up. After that, you need to put the potato circles in one layer tightly to each other. Fry them over medium heat until browned, turn over to the other side, remove when the bottom turns golden too.

Place ready-made chips on a napkin lined plate to remove excess oil.

Then fry the remaining potatoes. Homemade chips are served warm. These are such quick and tasty potato dishes. You can make chips not from it, but from flour, chili pepper, you get an analogue of the Mexican dish nachos. Onion chips are delicious too. Onions, cut into thin rings, are also first doused in a mixture of flour, seasonings, salt, and then fried in a small amount of vegetable oil on both sides until tender.
