Chilled lemon tart is a delicious dessert that will be a great finishing touch to a gala dinner. This is not a very sweet dessert, so sweet wine is suitable as a drink.
Ingredients:
- Heavy cream - 150 g;
- Lemon - 1 pc;
- Large eggs - 2 pcs;
- Powdered sugar - 100 g;
- Almonds - 15 nuts;
- Sour cream - 150 g.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Water - 50 g;
- Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- Kiwi - 2 pcs.
- For decoration, take mint leaves and thin circles of lemon.
Preparation:
- To make chilled lemon pie, you need to process its main ingredient, lemon. Rinse it thoroughly, grate the zest and squeeze out every last drop of juice.
- Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Set the squirrels aside. Then beat the heavy cream with a blender. Beat sugar with egg yolks until fluffy. Put finely grated lemon zest into the mixture and pour in all the lemon juice. Beat the resulting mass again well. Then add sour cream and whipped cream to this mixture.
- Take the egg whites, beat them until elastic peaks form. Stir the egg whites very gently into the prepared mixture. Add peeled and very finely chopped almond kernels.
- Take a baking dish with an adjustable base and pour ice water over it. Put the prepared lemon mixture into this form. Place everything in the freezer for at least 2 hours.
- While the lemon pie mixture is freezing, prepare the sauce. To do this, cut the pulp from the kiwi. Mix water and sugar and boil for a few minutes. Add the kiwi pulp to the sugar water. Remove cooked sauce from heat and cool well.
- Once the cake and sauce have cooled, they can be served. Decorate with mint leaves and thin lemon rings.
