A roll with seafood filling is an excellent appetizer that will delight you with its exquisite taste. This dish is not difficult to prepare and quite quickly. This roll can be served both with dry white wine and beer.
Dough ingredients:
- Cream - 100 g;
- Water - 150 g;
- Butter - 50 g;
- Eggs - 3 pieces;
- Flour - 90 g.
Filler Ingredients:
- Shrimp - 250 g;
- Crab sticks - 200 g;
- Mussels in brine - 200 g;
- Heavy cream - 300 g;
- Dill - 2 bunches;
- Salt;
- Grated horseradish - 3 tablespoons.
Preparation:
- The first thing you need to start to prepare a roll is to prepare the oven, it needs to be heated to about 200 degrees. Take a stir-fry dish about 30 by 40 centimeters in size. Line it with greaseproof paper.
- Mix cream with butter and pour in water, bring this mixture to a boil. Then sprinkle flour to the mixture, stirring it vigorously. Cook the mixture until it starts to move away from the bottom of the pan. Cool the resulting mixture and add all 3 eggs to it one by one, whisking well after each egg.
- After that, you need to pour the prepared mixture for the roll onto a baking dish and put in the oven. The approximate cooking time is 20 minutes. After the dough for the roll is baked, take it out and put it on greaseproof paper, cool.
- Then you need to prepare the seafood. The shrimp should be boiled in slightly salted water with a slice of lemon and black peppercorns.
- Crab sticks (you can take meat) need to be thawed and chopped very finely, the smaller the better. Remove the mussels from the brine and dry with a napkin.
- After that, whip the cream prepared for the filler and add very well chopped dill and then the grated horseradish. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- Spread a mixture of cream, dill and horseradish on the baked dough, spread the seafood on top. Roll into a roll and send the structure to cool in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- Place the roll on a serving plate and chop.
