It is necessary

    • potatoes 1.5 kg;
    • veal 1 kg;
    • onions 2 pcs;
    • head of garlic;
    • vegetable oil 150 g;
    • spices for meat;
    • salt;
    • pepper.

Instructions

Step 1

Take the meat, clean it from the film, remove the streaks, rinse with warm running water and dry a little. Then cut it into pieces of medium size. Place the meat in a saucepan and add salt, pepper and spices to taste. Rub all this thoroughly with your hands into the pulp. Leave the meat for about 2-3 hours to marinate. If you are cooking outdoors, cover the pot with a rag or foil to keep out insects and other debris.

Step 2

Next, start peeling potatoes, garlic and onions. At the same time, take a cauldron, pour vegetable oil into it and put it on fire so that it warms up well.

Step 3

Cut the peeled potatoes into large wedges and place in a cauldron with boiling oil. Do this carefully so as not to burn yourself from the hot spray. Fry the potatoes until golden brown, but not until tender. Place in a serving dish.

Step 4

Next, take the marinated meat and put it in the hot oil left over from the potatoes. Fry each piece for no more than 5 minutes, until golden brown on both sides. This is necessary in order to retain the internal juice. Thanks to this, in the process of further cooking, the meat will be juicy and tasty.

Step 5

Then drain the oil from the cauldron, put the meat on the bottom, then potatoes and onions, previously cut into small cubes. Top with garlic minced through a garlic press. Pour half a glass of hot water, close the cauldron with a lid and simmer over low heat. The dish will be ready in 1-2 hours.
