Liver cake is a very tasty, unusual and at the same time quite economical dish. The appetizer will become a worthy decoration both for the everyday table and for a festive meal.
Ingredients:
- Carrots - 3 pcs;
- Beef liver - 0.5 kg;
- Mayonnaise sauce - 1 glass;
- Large onion - 1 pc;
- Milk - 100 ml;
- Eggs - 3 pcs;
- Flour of the highest grade - 50 g;
- Garlic - 2 cloves;
- Salt, spices and dill herbs;
- Vegetable oil.
Preparation:
- We clean the onion. Rinse and cut into thin half rings.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a frying pan. Put the chopped onion and fry until golden brown.
- We cut the peeled carrots into thin strips, and then also send them to fry until softened. Maintain a moderate fire power.
- Put the chopped liver in a blender. Pour milk and beat thoroughly.
- Add eggs and flour to a homogeneous liver mass. Stir well, add salt and pepper.
- Now take a frying pan about 10-15 centimeters in diameter. Warm up by pouring just a little vegetable oil.
- We bake pancakes from the liver one after the other on both sides.
- We clean the garlic. Squeeze through a press and mix with mayonnaise. Add greens, pre-washed and finely chopped, as well as a pinch of salt. Stir well.
- Alternately grease the liver pancakes with garlic sauce. Lay the onion mixed with carrots on top.
- When the cake is assembled, cover the topmost pancake only with mayonnaise with herbs and garlic. The finished snack must be cooled in the refrigerator overnight to soak it better.
