This dish is akin to our omelet. It was invented by practical Italians, preparing a daily breakfast for a large family. Such a breakfast is prepared from improvised products, eggs are the basis.
It is necessary
- - chicken egg - 2 pcs.;
- - potatoes - 4 pcs.;
- - vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons;
- - basil - 4 branches;
- - fresh tomatoes - 2 pcs.;
- - sweet pepper - 1 pc.;
- - feta cheese - 70-80 g;
- - ground coriander, turmeric - a pinch;
- - ground pepper - to taste;
- - salt to taste.

Step 1
Wash the potatoes, peel, cut into thin slices and fry in vegetable oil. Put the finished, golden-brown potato slices in a baking dish and add a little salt.

Break clean eggs into a deep bowl, add spices and beat with a whisk or mixer.

Wash the basil, tear off the leaves from the branches and chop them finely. Combine the basil with beaten eggs.

Grate cheese, put in an omelette and stir. Rinse the tomatoes in running water, chop into small cubes, also combine with the general mixture.

Pour the cooked mixture over the fried potatoes. Top with slices of chopped sweet pepper.
Step 6
To begin with, heat the form with the semi-finished product over low heat. As soon as the edges of the dish are slightly thickened and the middle remains runny, transfer the frittata to the oven. Bake for 5-7 minutes at 170-180 degrees. You can serve breakfast with tomato sauce.
