Step 1

Dough preparation. Mix flour and baking powder. Grind the flour and butter. Combine one egg with sugar (50 g) and beat with a mixer. Combine the flour and butter and the egg and sugar mixture and knead the dough. The dough should be soft, but should not stick to your hands. Place the dough in a plastic bag and let sit for 30 minutes. The dough is ready.

Step 2

Cooking the filling. Separate the whites from the yolks. Whisk yolks with sugar (0.5 cups) and vanilla sugar, add cottage cheese and mix well. Mix semolina with sour cream and combine with curd mass. Mix thoroughly. The filling is ready.

Step 3

Cooking soufflé. Beat the whites until firm foam, add a couple of drops of lemon juice. Pour the icing sugar into the protein foam in small portions. Stir.

Step 4

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, then transfer the dough sheet into the mold. Distribute evenly, form bumpers. Spread the curd filling evenly on the dough. Bake at 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Step 5

Place the soufflé on top of the cake. Bake in the oven for another 10-15 minutes, until the soufflé is golden brown. Turn off the oven and leave the cake there to cool. When the cake is completely cool, drops of caramel will appear on the surface. The cake is ready! Bon Appetit!
