How nice it is when guests or home, having tasted your sweet pastries or meat pies, ask for extras and say: "How delicious, you will lick your fingers!" To hear this again, try making a very simple choux pastry recipe that works for both a sweet treat and pies with vegetables, meat or fish.

Step 1
Pour the milk into a small saucepan and place over low heat. Grind the butter and combine with milk. Wait for the oil to dissolve and the mixture begins to boil in the saucepan.

Add salt, sugar and baking soda. As soon as the milk begins to froth, sift flour into it and stir well. You should have small, yellowish lumps.

Now you need to cool the dough a little. To speed up this process, transfer it from a saucepan to a cup or deep plate. Wait 10-15 minutes.

Break the eggs into the dough. Mix well and add flour. Knead soft dough so it doesn't stick to your hands. Wrap it in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

Delicious baked pies are made from this dough. Even if your oven dries the dough too much and makes crackers instead of a delicious soft treat, it will not spoil this dish.

Fill with stewed cabbage, minced meat, fish, and crushed potatoes.

Cut the dough into small pieces and roll out medium-sized cakes. Spread some mayonnaise on them. Put the filling and wrap it in the dough - in triangles, diamonds, or in the usual form for pies.

Place the patties on a baking sheet. Coat them with yolk on top and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Then remove from the oven and cover with a waffle towel. When the treat has cooled down a little, you can serve it to the table.

A delicious cake can be baked from such a custard. Roll out the dough into 6-8 layers. Try to keep them as thin as possible. Add a skillet to the skillet and brown the cake base on both sides. There is no need to add any oil.

Combine the cakes with condensed milk or any fatty cream. Garnish with nuts on top. Refrigerate for a couple of hours. When the cake is well saturated with cream, serve.
