On the eve of any holiday, the hostess needs to prepare a lot of dishes, sometimes there is not enough strength for sweets, and you really want to please loved ones and guests with something tasty and unusual. We offer two recipes for simple but delicious cakes.
The peculiarity of these simple cakes is that you do not need to bake cakes for their preparation; marshmallows or cottage cheese are used for the base of the dish. But in taste and beauty, they are not inferior to other sweets.
This cake takes 30 minutes to cook and requires very few products:
- 1 kg of cottage cheese;
- zest of 1 orange;
- 1 can of boiled condensed milk;
- 2 tsp cocoa;
- 3 tbsp Sahara;
- 5 tbsp milk;
- 1 tsp instant coffee.
Mix the condensed milk with cottage cheese and grated orange zest, put it on a heart-shaped dish. This is the base of the cake, and now we are preparing the icing. We combine cocoa, sugar, coffee and milk, put on low heat and bring to a boil, wait for the mixture to cool, and carefully pour it over the cake.
To prepare it you will need:
- 1 kg marshmallow;
- 1, 5 cups of sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 glass of milk;
- 5 cookies;
- lemon zest;
- 200 g butter;
- dried fruits.
Bake with a crush to make a small crumb, three zest on a fine grater, and divide each marshmallow in half.
Now we are preparing the cream. Beat the eggs with sugar, then pour in the milk in a thin stream, add the crushed cookies and cook over low heat so that the mass becomes thick. When the mixture has cooled, mix it with the lemon zest and butter.
For the cake, choose a large plate, put the marshmallow halves on it, and fill the gaps with dried fruits, coat well with cream and cover with the second halves. We coat the sides of the cake, decorate with any berries. This cake can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
A simple cake at home can be prepared very quickly; you do not need to bake the cakes and make a complex cream for this. An unusual cake with cottage cheese or marshmallows will surely please all guests.
