If you love pastroma, you will be pleasantly surprised that you can make it yourself and not buy it in grocery stores. With this dish you can not only please your household, but also pleasantly surprise your guests.
It is necessary
- - 1.5-2 kg turkey fillet;
- - 1, 5 tablespoons of fresh ground paprika;
- - a mixture of dry herbs;
- - 2 tablespoons of olive oil;
- - 3 tablespoons of Kikoman soy sauce.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the turkey fillet and pat dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
Draw soy sauce into a medical syringe and inject it into the turkey, puncturing it in different places. Thoroughly coat the meat with olive oil.
Step 3
Mix together pepper, salt, and herbs with sweet paprika. Place all the seasonings you have prepared in a bag. Put the turkey meat there. Close the bag and stir all its contents in such a way that the meat rolls in seasonings on all sides.
Step 4
Now put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Step 5
Once the time has passed, place the meat from the bag on the baking sheet. The latter must be covered with parchment beforehand.
Step 6
Preheat oven to 250 degrees and bake for exactly 17 minutes. Then turn off the oven completely and leave the meat until it has completely cooled down - this will happen after about 3-4 hours. The most important thing is not to open the oven during this time. If airflow is provided in your oven, it must be turned off during this time.
Step 7
Once the pastroma has completely cooled, remove the meat from the oven and cut into portions.
