Shortcrust pastry, delicate filling, dizzying aroma - here it is, the perfect homemade baked goods!
It is necessary
- For 6 baskets:
- For the test:
- - 200 g flour;
- - 50 g of sugar;
- - 100 g of chilled butter;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - 2 tbsp. milk.
- For apple filling:
- - 2 apples;
- - 2 egg whites;
- - 50 g of sugar;
- - 0.5 tsp cinnamon.
- - apple slices for decoration.
Instructions
Step 1
Mix flour with sugar and salt. Add pieces of cold butter (it is better to pre-cut it into small cubes and freeze) and quickly rub everything with your hands until crumbled. Add milk, quickly knead the dough, roll it into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 40 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, bake the apples in the microwave or oven until soft and puree with a blender. Add cinnamon and 3/4 of the sugar to the applesauce. Beat again with a blender.
Step 3
Beat the whites separately in a clean bowl until peaks. Add the remaining sugar and beat again to dissolve (you can also use powdered sugar).
Step 4
Gently, using a spatula, combine the egg whites and applesauce. Our mousse is ready!
Step 5
Divide the dough into 6 parts and distribute over prepared tartlets. Send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees, pouring beans onto the surface of the dough (baking method "with a load"), so that the dough does not "swell", for a quarter of an hour.
Step 6
Remove the bases from the oven, remove the weight, fill the tartlets with mousse and, if desired, garnish with apple wedges. Send it to the oven for another 40 minutes, lowering the temperature to 160 degrees.
