  • green onions - 3-4 feathers;
  • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes - 450 g.

Instructions

Step 1

First you need to prepare ghee. To do this, put the butter in a skillet and bring it to a boil over low heat. The oil should boil until foaming stops. Strain the finished oil through a sieve and cool.

Step 2

Peel the potatoes and chop the green onions finely.

Step 3

Cut the potatoes into thin slices. It is best to use a slice cutter as the slices should be very thin, almost transparent.

Step 4

Grease a baking dish generously with ghee. For convenience, you can use a special brush. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the mold, overlapping the slices. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and a pinch of green onions.

In this way, all layers should be laid out. If the potatoes are cut too thinly, do not pour too much oil on it, and do not salt the layers too much, it is better to add salt to the finished dish.

When all layers are laid out, pour the remaining oil over the potatoes, pepper and salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 190-200 degrees for 40 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a thin knife.

Put the finished potatoes on a dish, turning the mold over. Sprinkle chopped herbs on your food.
