An extraordinarily tasty dish thanks to the garlic, oil and lemon filling. Serve with baked vegetables and garnish with herbs on top.
It is necessary
- - 1.5 kg of chicken;
- - 25 g of oil;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of finely chopped parsley;
- - 2 heads of garlic;
- - Bay leaf;
- - 1, 5 pcs. lemon;
- - salt and ground black pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter in a separate bowl, peel the garlic, and crush the garlic cloves. Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Combine melted butter, chopped parsley and crushed garlic in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. This will serve as the filling of the chicken.
Step 2
Remove all entrails from the chicken, if any. Make cuts under the skin at the top and bottom of each breast with the tip of a sharp knife. Slide two fingers through the incisions in the skins and spread them apart a little to create pockets for the parsley and butter.
Step 3
Lift the peel and carefully place the butter and parsley filling underneath with a spoon so as not to pierce it. Smooth out the filling by pressing on top with a spoon. Place bay leaves and thinly sliced lemon halves under your skin as well. Pierce one whole lemon with a fork in several places and shove it whole into the cavity of the chicken carcass.
Step 4
Place the stuffed chicken on a baking sheet, cover loosely with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and cook for another half hour. Remove the lemon from the chicken. Wrap the chicken in foil before serving and let sit for 10 minutes.
