Potato grandmother is a dish of Belarusian cuisine. It is prepared quite easily, besides, you will surely be pleased with the taste.

- - bacon - 150 g;
- - onions - 2 pcs;
- - bay leaf - 1 piece;
- - melted butter - 2 tablespoons;
- - salt;
- - pepper.

Step 1
So, first you need to chop the bacon. Cut it into cubes, then fry in a pan until it turns light brown, that is, for 7-8 minutes. Then add chopped onions to the bacon and cook for another 1 minute.

With potatoes, do this: rinse them thoroughly and peel them. Next, you need to grate it, preferably fine. Add the mixture of bacon and onion to the grated potatoes, and do not forget to add salt and pepper. Crumble the bay leaf, send it to the same mass and mix everything.
Step 3
The form where the dish will be baked must be greased with melted butter. After it is greased, place the potato mass in it and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 60 minutes. Serve by cutting into portions. The potato grandma is ready!
