An excellent recipe for tender pastries for a summer evening. These muffins can be eaten at lunchtime, they will also decorate your family tea party. It is easy to prepare them - you will spend no more than forty minutes on cooking.
It is necessary
- For twenty small muffins:
- - 150 g of sugar;
- - 120 ml of milk;
- - 100 g flour;
- - 50 g of oil;
- - 3 bags of green tea (better than jasmine);
- - 1 egg;
- - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;
- - 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the milk. In a deep bowl, brew three jasmine tea bags with it. Next, mix all the dry ingredients together - flour, salt, baking powder.
Step 2
Whisk in softened butter with sugar, vanilla extract (can be substituted with vanilla sugar if desired) and one chicken egg. When the milk has cooled, remove the tea bags and discard them.
Step 3
Add milk to the butter mixture, add the flour mixture in small portions. Knead the dough for a few minutes until smooth.
Step 4
Take small cupcake molds, grease them with butter, or insert special paper inserts. If you have silicone molds, then it is even easier - they do not need to be oiled or laid out with inserts (although you can still add them for beauty). Set the oven to warm up in advance for the optimum temperature - 180 degrees.
Step 5
Pour the fragrant jasmine dough into the tins, not filling them completely - after all, the muffins will rise during the baking process. Place in a preheated oven. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, checking the doneness with a toothpick. Ready-made green tea muffins can be served warm or cold - they are delicious in any form.
