Lentil soup is an incredibly healthy and satisfying dish. Cook it according to this recipe, and it will turn out to be incredibly tasty, rich, which will be appreciated by all members of your family.
It is necessary
- - 500 grams of smoked pork ribs;
- - five pieces of potatoes;
- - two glasses of lentils;
- - one carrot;
- - one onion;
- - two to three tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - a pinch of dried parsley and dill;
- - salt and pepper;
- - two or three bay leaves.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour four liters of water into a saucepan, cut the ribs and put them in the water, put the pan on the fire. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and cook the ribs for at least an hour.
Step 2
After a while, remove the pan from the heat, place the ribs on a plate and let cool. Separate the meat from the bones and cut into small pieces.
Strain the broth through a fine sieve (to make sure there are no debris in it).
Step 3
Peel the potatoes, rinse and cut into cubes. Place the potatoes in a pot of stock and heat.
Step 4
Peel the onions and carrots, chop the vegetables in random order. Preheat a skillet with vegetable oil and fry the onions and carrots until golden brown (you can add your favorite spices and herbs to vegetables when frying).
Rinse the lentils, cover them with cold water and let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Check the readiness of the potato, if it is almost ready, then add lentils to it, of course, first drain the water, salt. Simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add the fried carrots and onions, chopped meat to the saucepan, cover the saucepan and simmer the soup for about five minutes.
Step 7
When the time has elapsed, turn off the gas, put herbs and bay leaves in a saucepan, close the lid and let stand for at least 10 minutes. Lentil soup is ready, now it can be poured into bowls and served.
