This is a very economical recipe for a hearty meal. Chicken drumsticks with green peas turn out to be very fragrant, the chicken can be served separately, and the gravy can be mixed with boiled rice - you get a hearty side dish.

- For two servings:
- - 150 g frozen green peas;
- - 3 chicken drumsticks;
- - 1 onion;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil, tomato paste;
- - ground pepper, salt.
Instructions
Step 1
Take three chicken drumsticks, rinse them. Fry the drumsticks in olive oil until half cooked.
Step 2
Peel the onion, chop it finely. Add the onion to the fried chicken, fry until the onion is soft - 5-8 minutes. You can add garlic at this point for flavor.
Step 3
Dilute the tomato paste with a small amount of plain water, salt and pepper to taste. Feel free to add your favorite spices to the gravy - they will not spoil it. Pour the chicken and onions with the resulting mixture. Simmer for half an hour over low heat. The gravy should thicken during this time. The chicken will become fragrant and tender.
Step 4
Add green peas to the pan, stir, simmer together for another 5-7 minutes. The finished dish is best served hot. You can serve the drumsticks with gravy or separately, and make a side dish with the gravy.
